BULLPENS

Players can attend once a week. Bullpens will be players full pitching off the mound. Players will work towards developing their mound mechanics, pitch design, and accuracy. Players will chart their pitch locations and k/bb ratios. Rapsodo will also be utilized giving information on many things such as speed and spin efficiency.

Shoulder Stability, Plyo Ball, and Medicine Ball Training

Players can attend up to two times a week. During shoulder stability, players will focus on proper arm care routines that will help keep arms healthy. Bands, shoulder tubes, slides, and proper stretching routines will be used. For the med-ball portion, medicine balls of varying weights will be used to help develop core strength, explosiveness, and range of motion. These drills promote proper mechanics without having to use a baseball- minimizing how many pitches players are throwing! Lastly during the plyometric portion, plyo-balls will be used. A great tool for developing arm strength as well as teaching proper arm action, players will build their velocity, endurance, and mechanics.

Our pitching programs are focused on the areas of pitching development we refer to as pitchabilities.

We focus on velocity and command development by helping players remove biomemchanical constraints and helping them to understand how to develop, generate and transfer power. We use state-of-the art technology to capture pitch metrics such as spin rate, spin axis, spin efficiency and more. When paired with our high-speed Edgertronic cameras pitchers experience a player development environment similar to that at the highest levels of the game.
